My guess was actually about how it handles garbage collecting canvas buffers when using texImage2D. Since the Skater game uses multiple fullscreen canvases, it might be more noticeable than Mine Blocks or Hexagon Tribute, which I think only use one. But optimizing that didn't have an affect unfortunately, so I'm not sure.
