Mine Blocks 2 is BACK!
Last time I released a Mine Blocks 2 update was in 2015 — 9 years ago!
It feels like a lifetime since the last Mine Blocks 2 news, haha; I made five big Mine Blocks 1 updates and 37 videos within that time!
I can't only just say I ported the game to HTML5 and added new features. I also must reintroduce it with a brand new Mine Blocks 2 video!
Check it out:

Generally, Better!
To bring Mine Blocks 2 back, I had to rewrite the entire game in the Haxe programming language. This was a great opportunity to improve many subtle aspects of the game.
So the game now has an uncapped FPS! No cap fr. It runs at your monitor's refresh rate, and you can adjust that in the settings menu.
Many bugs were fixed: ore distribution, world corruption, and dozens of offsets with lighting and entities.
And hopefully many of you will enjoy the new language options: Spanish and Portuguese! de nada, de nada
Water Improvements!
Water now looks much nicer, thanks to how light more naturally passes through it.
It's more interactive too - items float in water (and burn in lava), swimming is improved, and there's an air meter. Much more realistic!
Buckets were also added, allowing you to relocate water and lava.
Water used to be the biggest source of lag in Mine Blocks 2. That is no longer true, due to careful management of block updates and lighting caches.
New Items!
Bed were added! Which means you can now rest your weary satchel, reset your spawn point, and skip the long nights. Finally!
And there are now doors - one for each type of wood. They are fundamentally useful for making houses look natural. Plus they keep the leaf particles out ofc.
Copper blocks were also added, as well as the ability to cultivate cacti and cotton.
